Junior Executive Programme in Sustainability
The Junior Executive Programme in Sustainability is an educational initiative by The Green Spoon Management Consultancies to provide UAE-based undergraduate university students the opportunity to engage both in theoretical and hands-on training in sustainability.
The programme is sponsored by the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company -TAQA.
TAQA is one of Abu Dhabi's flagship companies and as such has an important role to play in helping to deliver the economic strategy of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

JEPS is structured on three major elements:
- Sustainability Training and Workshops
- A series of seminars where industry leaders come in as guest lecturers
- Industry Visits to plants, factories and special projects where sustainability is put in practice

JEPS holds monthly seminars where industry leaders share their experiences and challenges of implementing sustainability into the business realm of the UAE.
Each seminar is followed by an in-person networking session for students to establish connections with the pioneers of sustainability in the country.

Knowledge moves through networks and best practices spread faster among people who share an educational background. The students who successfully complete JEPS are eligible for life-long membership to the JEPS Alumni Network which entails yearly meetings on progress-tracking, knowledge sharing, and career opportunities.
