The Junior Executive Programme in Sustainability is an educational initiative by The Green Spoon Management Consultancies to give year 2 and 3 undergraduate students the opportunity to engage both in theoretical and hands-on training in sustainability.
The programme is designed to equip students with the needed theoretical and hands-on knowledge and skills to tackle the sustainability issues of today and tomorrow.

JEPS is structured on three major elements:
6 modules of sustainability training, amounting to a total of 20 hours of course time:
Practical, hands-on, and creative sessions to stimulate out-of-the-box thinking for sustainability implementation:
In-person trips to The Green Spoon's various partners in different sectors and industries to witness sustainability in practice, including local farms, food factories, landmark sustainability projects.
JEPS will hold monthly seminars where industry leaders share their experiences and challenges of implementing sustainability into the business realm of the UAE.
Each seminar will be followed by an in-person networking session for students to establish connections with the pioneers of sustainability in the country.
Knowledge moves through networks and best practices spread faster among people who share an educational background. The students who successfully complete JEPS are eligible for life-long membership to the JEPS Alumni Network which will entail yearly meetings on progress-tracking, knowledge sharing, and career opportunities.
Application requirements for the programme are:
Students that pass the 1st round of the application will be called for interviews which will determine their eligibility for enrollment in JEPS.
Applicants must register their interest before 29 November 2022.
JEPS is planned to kick off in January 2023, lasting a total of 6 months.
